The Governor, Central Bank of Kenya, Dr. Patrick Njoroge today addressed delegates at the 4th Edition of the Dutch Development Bank (FMO) Future of Finance conference to be held on September 25-27, 2016 in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. The theme of the conference – Beyond Banking – presents a unique opportunity for leaders from financial institutions in emerging markets to get together and share their ideas and aspirations for the future of finance. Dr Njoroge delivered the keynote speech on the first day of the conference which was attended by several dignitaries including Queen Máxima of the Netherlands and United Nations Secretary General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development. Dr. Njoroge’s speech highlighted the impact of disruptive technology on financial inclusion and the immense possibilities that these innovations offer for achieving inclusive economic growth, sustainable development, and poverty reduction.
